Restropress

RestroPress is a Online Food Ordering system for WordPress. It is a standalone WordPress plugin which allows you to easily add Food Ordering System to your WordPress Website. Using RestroPress you can easily receive both PickUp/Takeaway and Delivery orders.

RestroPress has a user friendly frontend and backend interface which will allow you to easily manage the orders and also comes with pre-built user dashboard to manage their profile and orders.

The plugin automatically adds the required pages to your site when you activate the plugin. The plugin outputs the food items on your page using [fooditems] shortcode.

  • category_menu(this will show only the child category of the specified category)
  • cat_orderby( Ordering for category )
  • fooditem_orderby ( ordering of food items inside the category )

De bovenstaande shortcode geeft alleen de sub-categorieën voor “lunch” weer in de categorie zijbalk en geeft ook de voedselproducten uit de sub-categorie “lunch” weer.

Installatie

  1. Login to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Plugins > Add New
  2. Search for “RestroPress”.
  3. Click install.
  4. Click activate.
  5. Once the plugin is installed then you can see RestroPress on the left navigation bar of WordPress Dashboard.

the free version of the plugin was not enough for us, so we decided to let make custom changes of the plugin, actually where really small changes like minimum order per zone and some changes of the layout. We paid 700$ for these changes, we asked to integrate them with the next release because we won't to update the plugin but they told us that we won't be able again to update the pluging and wordpress. We spent months communicating with them because all the time something is not working. WE bought then store timing which we can't update as well. Today although wordpress is not updated and the pluging as well the custom changing is not working anymore and when I wrote to the support they told us we need to pay for extra work. They are scammers and I'm wondering why wordpress let them part of this community.
