Tom Hanks Twitter

In a day that has been filled with news we never thought we would see or have seen before, here’s another one, America’s dad Tom Hanks went viral over the weekend thanks to a tweet published by Jenna Jameson.

Nov 11, 2020 Twitter confirms the Tom Hanks deleted tweets conspiracy was a glitch. Update 11:48am CT, Sept. 14: Twitter confirmed to the Daily Dot that an issue on the platform made it appear to some users. Tom Hanks is used to perplexing his fans on Twitter. The Hollywood star regularly posts photographs of random lost gloves and other items of clothing that he spots discarded on the street. On Friday, however, he freaked out many of his 13 million followers with this snap of a building in New York City. Tom Hanks poses for a portrait in New York on Nov. Hanks and Rita Wilson still haven’t been vaccinated against COVID-19, despite being two of the first major celebrities to be infected with the coronavirus.

Tom Hanks, one of the A-list Hollywood stars called out by Isaac Kappy as a pedophile, made a weird tweet last month about “roadkill” on Historic Route 66. He is currently filming a movie in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where Kappy was from. While there Hanks has been tweeting repeatedly about lost gloves. Masonic symbolism? Tom Hanks has been active on Twitter over the past few years, where he regularly updates 16 million followers on the app.

For some odd reason, Jameson, out of the blue, wrote on Twitter, “Tom Hanks just deleted 3 years worth of tweets in the last hour.”

Tom Hanks just deleted 3 years worth of tweets in the last hour. 😏

Less than two days later and Jameson’s tweet about Hanks has been retweeted over 21,000 times and received almost 63,000 likes.

Which is all a little strange considering the the statement Jameson made in the tweet is 100 percent not true.

To all the Grads of 2020, you Chosen Ones! Print this up on a sheepskin! Hanx pic.twitter.com/4llw7fPtxB

So, uh, what is with all the retweets and likes?

According to Mikael Thalen of Daily Dot

Hanks has become a primary target of conspiracy theorists aligned with the QAnon movement, which believes that secret government insiders are working alongside President Donald Trump to bring down a child-eating pedophile ring run by Democrat politicians and Hollywood liberals.

Okay, so that might explain some of it, but why did Jameson even send out that tweet in the first place?

Turns out she wasn’t the only one who believed it to be true.

The Independent thinks Jameson’s tweet went viral because of Trump supporters “watching social media for any movement they can use as ‘evidence.'”

How deleting three years worth of tweets, even if it were true, qualifies as evidence of anything is a mystery I cannot unravel.

Now then, why did people think Tom Hanks deleted three years worth of tweets in the first place?

No one really knows, but it appears to have just been some sort of Twitter glitch.

Basically, all this little event proved is that people really have very vivid imaginations and far too much time on their hands these days.

Witness…

He thought since Mueller's team wiped the iPhone, he could just wipe his Twitter with the same results. Wrong!

I was disappointed when I found out what Tom Hanks has been doing behind the cameras. Some of the proof of his horrific living is in his tweets...other proof are the victims that have come out...and of course his ties to Epstein.

Most of Oprah's tweets won't allow comments. Kevin Spacey last tweet is in 2019 and Ellen's last tweet was the end of July of this year.

What is there not to love about Tom Hanks, the multi-Oscar winning award actor, and the man who introduces himself as 'I'm that actor in some of the movies you liked and some you didn't. Sometimes I'm in pretty good shape, other times I'm not. Hey, you gotta live, you know?' on his Twitter account.

Tom Hanks Twitter Roadkill

After four years of staying, for the most part, out of the political spotlight, Hanks has stepped right back in to host the Biden Inauguration special, 'Celebrating America.' With his dark suit and gloves, he cuts a stunning figure against the backdrop of the regal Lincoln Memorial, and for the most part, both he and the special show has been awe-inspiring, but Tom Hanks is triggering social media for another reason.

'Somebody please get Tom Hanks a coat, my inner Jewish mother is freaking out,' one viewer wailed on social media. 'My husband and I, being the elderly couple we are, have spent this whole #InaugurationAtHome concert talking about how Tom Hanks should be wearing a coat,' another said. A third posted: 'I suppose we are all a bit numb after the last four years, but Tom Hanks is literally numb right now. Someone give him a coat.'

The comments never stopped coming. A fourth user referenced the cool outfit Senator Bernie Sanders pulled together for Inauguration Day, saying: 'Who isn't letting Tom Hanks wear a hat and winter coat? Can he borrow Bernie's? My guy looks like he's struggling to keep his teeth from chattering every time they cut to him.' And we think this user speaks for all of us: 'Am I the only one who's worried about @tomhanks freezing out there? Get that man a scarf and a coat before he gets pneumonia!'

Weather.com might agree. A check shows that temperatures in Washington, D.C. currently hover at 33 degrees — and thanks to windchill, it actually feels like 30 degrees. We can only hope the cutaways mean that the man one social media user called 'national treasure and America's dad' gets a chance to grab a hot chocolate and sit in a blanket. Otherwise, as one user puts it: 'Tom Hanks looks very cold, can we get him a coat so he can celebrate america in warmth?'
